The Energy Ombudsman helped me reclaim £2,500 from EDF

I’m extremely grateful to the Energy Ombudsman for resolving a long-standing billing dispute with EDF. Despite repeated attempts to sort it out directly, I was being chased for thousands in back-billed charges that I believed were unfair. The Ombudsman reviewed my case fairly and thoroughly, and ultimately found in my favour — resulting in a £2,500 refund from EDF. The process took some time, but communication was clear and professional throughout. They gave both sides a chance to respond, and I always felt like my concerns were being taken seriously. If you’re in a similar situation and feel like you’ve hit a wall with your energy supplier, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend taking your case to the Ombudsman. They genuinely made a difference.
