Poor service from Toolstation
I ordered a 5L tin of Barrettine Decking Oil on-line. When the order arrived I was so disappointed to find that the wrong colour had been despatched. I was very disappointed as I was all ready to start treating my decking. How can the wrong colour be despatched? To try and resolve the situation I had an on-line “chat” with one of their agents. It turned out that I could not get a replacement tin until Toolstation had received the original order back. The only way that I could get a replacement was to visit a branch that had the correct tin in stock. This meant that I had to make a 20 mile round trip. As this error was not my fault I asked the agent if Toolstation would cover my travel costs? This was declined as it was not company policy. Poor service from Toolstation.
