Be careful and double-check everything!
I booked a flight to Los Angeles through Travelhouse, and there was a mistake with the dates. When I first contacted them, the agent told me it was 100% a human error. I explained to him that I was 100% sure I had put in the correct dates — when you’re booking a flight, you have to go over the dates more than once, so you know exactly what you’ve selected. Later, it turned out the mistake wasn’t mine at all — it was an issue with their system. Luckily, I checked my flight details directly with the airline afterwards. If I hadn’t, I could have turned up at the airport and been stuck an extra day without even knowing. It was stressful having to chase it up and dig through my emails to prove the mistake, but thankfully the agent did call me back after to admit it was their fault and they managed to correct it. Overall, they fixed the situation, but the whole thing could have been avoided. I would definitely warn others to always double-check your booking, keep screenshots, and save all confirmation emails — just in case something like this happens.
