On June 9 I was charged £9.80 as Lebara set up a temp account for me when they failed to port my number from Vodafone for 3 weeks. I called on the 10 July to close temp account. This was the third request. They said they would refund the money but couldnt close the account as they had linked it to a MSE promotional rate. I was asked to call every month so they could refund me. Clearly this wasnt acceptable. During the call its terminated at 10.30 am. Checking my IPhone I had no mobile signal but I did have WiFi. I then used chat and they told me the SIM was working normally. During the chat i was getting WA messages asking why my mobile was switched off. I then called my mobile from my home phone - message this mobile is switched off. Lebara told me they were calling me and it was ringing ! After lots of chat and lots of reasons for the failure Lebara said it was a tech issue and they would escalate and a it would be fixed within 72 hours. Today is July 19 143 hours later not inc weekends no solution. In the meantime I bought a Tesco Mobile PAYG SIM on the 12 July thank the Lord. This is the most pathetic service I have ever suffered and I used to be Vodafone Customer and worked for BT ! Avoid like the plague - other providers are available.
