We placed an order over a week ago…
We placed an order over a week ago explaining that delivery would have to be on a main road as we live in a small terraced cottage and so as not to cause disruption locally we needed to know when the delivery would be. We were told this was not a problem and they happily took the order and our money. We were informed to ring the day before at 4pm and we would be given a time slot. I rang at 4pm and was informed that yes it was ready to be dispatched first thing - we were first on the list. So we rang our help to arrive first thing to help us move the materials. At 10.30 we were still waiting so I rang and was told that we were definitely next on the list. 12 o’clock arrived and the help had to leave and be paid for. 12.30 I rang again and tried to explain our issue. The man was incredibly rude, disinterested and insolent. He made no attempt to apologise or offer any explanation other than the driver was having lunch and we should’ve had it delivered the day before. If he’d listened to anything I said he would have heard that this was a dangerous thing to do on a public road. His parting line was “What do you expect me to do about it?” Appalling customer relations- don’t use if you want a professional service!
