UNHELPFUL CUSTOMER SERVICES AND CARELESS PACKING OF ITEMS.

I was happy to see I could buy food online as my Makro card was now out of date and I could not be bothered getting it sorted. I ordered quite a few items, when they arrived I had received someone else's order. I rang them and they said they would collect the incorrect order on Friday and deliver my correct order. A driver collected the wrong order but did not deliver the correct one. I rang Makro again and was waiting on the phone for 30 minutes so put the phone down. I waited in again Saturday when my order was delivered. The second order I put in was delivered correctly but items were short-dated. I rang them up and was told, sorry it is a wholesalers not a normal food store so there is nothing they can do. I said if it is a wholesalers then you should not be selling food online because your customers will be the normal household shoppers, not shops. They said that is how it works. So take my advice, don't buy in bulk because you may find your item are out of date in two weeks and you may be stuck with 120 cartons of UHT long life cream which normally lasts for 6 months. I know because I have purchased it before from another supplier.
