Be thorough and allow plenty of time to check everything before signing anything.
I recently called upon the services of Evo Logistics to transport several items of antique furniture from the seller to my house which is an hour away. Upon arrival, which took longer than expected as the driver stopped on the way, I helped to unload the items from the van and in a rush due to further commitments that day, signed the delivery notice to say I had received everything. Unfortunately, upon inspection the next day, one of the items appeared to have arrived damaged, when I contacted Evo Logistics, they told me absolutely nothing would be done by way of compensation as I had signed the delivery notice. Their customer service after I registered my complaint was nothing short of rude and accusatory. If you use Evo Logistics, be thorough and allow plenty of time to check every single item upon delivery, you won’t get a second chance.
