What size is your cup???
I recently bought the “Amsterdam 2cup teapot” in royal blue and it is making me happy every morning It is a lovely rich color, pours well and has strainer holes inside at the base of the spout to help keep loose tea leaves out of my cup. I drink my tea from a classic bone china English teacup which holds about 5 ounces. My new pot allows me to brew 3 full cups of tea. Several other reviewers have complained that this pot is at odds with its name. Perhaps they are expecting to fill 2 large mugs. The “Details” paragraph about this item states that the teapot holds about 14 ounces (15 by my measuring) and then provides dimensions in inches, 4.5x4.5. Beneath that is a seven line chart called “Product Details”. The last line, “Size”, states “2 cups”. This is subjective, inventive and confusing and needs to be changed to an accurate measurement in ounces. Then, of course, a name change for the teapot as well.
