Fallen foul of the policy
I decided to take out insurance for my wife and I in our late 40s. The initial process was painless and quick. I've since fallen foul of the policy a number of times. The fault lies with myself for not reading and understanding the contract but for people reading this. Pre-existing condition will trigger if you've had any 'symptoms' 5 years prior to your start date. Symptoms are anything similar in that period even if you didn't seek medical attention. Finally make a claim which fails you can't back out of the contract for the full year.
