I visited the OIS services location in Maryland. My experience was uneventful. The staff was efficient and the entire interview experience took less than an hour. Now the problem, due to a problem at the embassy Visas were not mailed out in a timely manner. My Visa was approved on November 8, but I didn't receive it until December 7. There was no explanation as to it's late arrival. Several calls to the OIS office went unanswered and emails not returned. If OIS is supposed to be an information center, why are they not available to answer questions? Will people who's Visas were delayed get their 90 days extended? Seems unfair. This is my first Nigerian Visa and I am disappointed with this process.
