Double charging existing customers.
I first got a Data-only SIM when I moved here, so I could get a Japanese phone number. Worked fine but the data limits are pretty low, so I ran out of data fast. Had to keep buying top-ups. Then, decided to upgrade to a Data+Voice SIM. They told me that since the first one was a three-month contract, I would have to keep that one and get the new one (so for two months I will be paying for two SIMs, instead of just updating my monthly rate to the new, higher-cost SIM). It's ridiculous, but I wasn't left with another option since I needed to set up things with my utility companies. As soon as my contracts expire, I'm going somewhere else. I feel scammed. The customer doesn't come first here.
