I thought I was the only one but…

I thought I was the only one but obviously there are many who feel the exact same way. Marriott Vacation Club is a total scam and drains you dry only to leave you stranded with no vacation but thousands of dollars poorer. I have been a club member for over 20 years and each year it goes down in customer service and availability. You might as well save the money and go on a luxurious vacation to someplace you want to go. I have tried since January to go away for my birthday which was months ago but nothing ever opened up. My points will expire at the end of this month and I have not gone on a single trip because nothing ever opened up. One of the reps offered me a space in Alabama (just where I want to go after spending thousands of dollars) and even that wasn't available. The maintenance fees are ridiculous and a total rip off!! Some of us should consider coming together to pursue a class action suit for false advertising. Marriott should be ashamed for scamming loyal customers who have relied upon the stellar reputation (from long ago) and trusted the brand for so long.
