Great tour but disappointing extra booking experience
The tour "Rajasthan Experience" I booked was wonderfult and exceeded my expectations due the exceptopnal guide Mahaveer we had. However I was disappointed by the pre-tour accommodation booking I did through Intreprid: after I have received confirmation to have a night in the same hotel as the tour starts, the confirmation was revoked (without any specific reason) and I was put in a different hotel which was more expensive than the original booking I made and so much worse regarding the hotel facility. I contacted Intreprid several times before my departure if it is not possible to get a room in the hotel I original but never got a proper answer. The tour experience deserves a 5-star-rating but I give 4 because of the unsatisfactory handling of the pre-tour as well as had to wait for more than 2 hours to get the airport tranfer to the hotel which Intrepid offers only for free if you make the pre-tour accommodation as well.
