I don't trust the reviews on here
I don't trust the reviews on here. They sound fake. I tried to contact them for a property a few times both by calling and by sending them a message through their website. 2 weeks went by and no callback. Then, I get a phone call from Daryl. I told him we've already found a property and that I had tried to contact them a few times...aaand he hung up on me. Such disrespect and a kind of unprofessionalism that make me seriously consider that all these positive reviews are fake. The person that would have done the things said in these reviews I imagine wouldn't hang up on someone. And yet he did. I was pissed but I called back and he answered like he didn't just call me. I pretended we got cut-off and he seemed genuinely startled and uncomfortable. Clearly he was unsettled by me actually calling him back. Anyways, that's my brief and unpleasant experience with AdHoc. I would seriously stay well away from a company that hires an individual such as Daryl. EDIT: Daryl’s manager just called me. 2 days after posting this review. He apologised and said he spoke to Daryl and he didn’t think there had been any animosity or anything after our call. I hadn’t posted this comment to hurt anyone but instead I wanted to warn others of what I perceived as possible red flags. Needless to say, I feel better for being called and checked in with. I am willing to assume it could have been an accident but even if it wasn’t I am pleased Daryl’s manager called to check the situation themselves. All and all these things happen and it’s important for people to try and make them right when they do. So extra points for that.
