NOT MARRIOTT I KNOW…

Like most reviews we were given a promotion to stay at one of the resorts at discount rate if we attended the 90 min promotion. Fair trade. We are loyal Marriott members and have been since traveling has ramped up. However, the high quality service, great customer service, and value seem to be missing from the Marriott Vacation Club in Orlando, FL. They used very vague details of program, pricing were never discussed until very end of program, a lot of catch phrases like “one time offer”, and “exclusive” to sign up that day. The worst part of the experience would be for our 3 kids who were placed in a cubical for 2 hours (30 mins) beyond the required time commitment with zero, literally zero entertainment options. In addition, in order to leave they pretended my wife had to sign a disclosure so we wouldn’t be charged for not attending. She was with and had left after the sales pitch and we wanted privacy to discuss what we had heard. They made her come back up to not have to sign anything but for us both to hear from not one more sales person but two more. Needless to say, the original sales rep never said bye or came back, the second left upset because we were not willing to sign, and the third barely had the courtesy to point us the way out, and said nothing other than “you can leave downstairs”. If this is the premium brand I thought I knew and suppose to be an exclusive imagine, good riddance Marriott…
