Abusive renewal terms and conditions
How nowadays, companies are not obliged to send a notification that the renewal will be due few weeks prior to the transaction?! Especially we are talking about a yearly renewal, not a monthly renewal!! So it’s very easy to forget about it. Also, it happened to me already last year, and I could not find a way to cancel my membership, all I could find on the app was the extend option, and I find it very unfair, that they make it so difficult for us to cancel a subscription. They are able to do a refund within 14 days when it’s the initial payment but not for a renewal… how is that different!? They are clearly abusing their customers and have no compassion for them. I have made my claim within 2 days when I discovered the transaction on my bank account, which always arrive few days after. I have clearly explain them the situation and asked for a refund, and also to cancel my profile to reassure them that it is not about trying to get a free year but clearly to get my money back for an access to their platform that I am not using! We are not talking about goods that we are trying to send back, but only of a service, which has no direct cost to them if they were to refund and cancel. Freeletics, unprofessional, abusive system, and the trainings offered are limited, repetitive and boring.
