Profit at the heart of everything they do
I always believe you only know a business when things go wrong. Camping Car Parks failed miserably on this test. But first, to be fair, we've stayed at a number of their locations.they're adequate quality. Services generally do what you'd expect, save for WiFi, which is often weak, slow, sometimes both. Prices are a bit toppy by comparison. However last night we stayed at a site where things went wrong. We were kept up from 8pm - 3am by youngsters partying adjacent to the site. Not their fault I'd agree but, to quote their response to me. They consider that'customer service to be at the heart of what they do' & that coming with this a need to 'be transparent'. Further digging elicited that they had 'submitted several complaints to the local authorities regarding recurring disturbances'. As a transparent company, with :customers at the heart of everything they do', they'll of course let customers know of these difficulties on the page or at the very least recompense their customers where they are impacted, yes? LOL, No, instead they hide behind the rights afforded to them by French Law. Call me picky if you like but no customer focused business I've ever known are constrained only by their legal responsibility. That is a trait of a business that puts profit at the heart of everything they do. Except that this time, their €14 saving on a refund has cost them perhaps 40 stays per year! .....& Then, as the icing on the cake, mysteriously, after my complaint, I am unable to review our experience, at this particular location, on their app. Now there's transparent for you! Edit after Company response So my feedback is valuable, but not sufficiently valuable that they'll reconsider their position. As mealy mouthed response as is possible. And no, my ability to leave review of my experience was not restored, so no, they will not be enjoying my patronage again.
