Prepare for heartbreak!
Whilst undoubtedly Many Tears do some incredible work with rescues, and all credit to staff in the yard working day to day. Unfortunately, they are represented by power hungry staff in the office. Staff who would rather keep a dog in the kennels than let them leave to a loving home. Staff that move the goalposts re: home checks, in terms of expectations. Staff that, rather than work with you on solutions, would rather give a computer says no answer. Unfortunately, it seems the adoption system is flawed with a lack of common sense. Many Tears are dead against breeders, but would rather force you down that route than work with prospective adopters. They operate on pre-conceived ideas and misconceptions, with a complete lack of flexibility to do physical home checks - I guess its easier to say no behind a phone!
