No customer service/no phones/no Chat.
I wish I had read these reviews before ordering. I ordered 500L of soil/loam on 25/5. I have received no delivery date/time. I wasted nearly 2 hours of my time yesterday 27/5 on the phone/chat. Phone number on email sent to me no answer after 10 minutes, abandoned that one. Tried customer services phone rang for 25 minutes so meanwhile I tried Chat no one online for existing orders so tried online Chat for new orders surprise, surprise answered straight away and tried to help but could only tell me they are delivering today 28/5 I need a time so that the very large lorry can access my property. They said they would forward a message on internal system. Phone finally answered and an operative said they would try to find out. Left me hanging for 5 minutes and then came back and said somebody from building supplies would phone me within 10-15 minutes. I am still waiting 24 hours later. Meanwhile in desperation I rang a branch ST. Ives didn`t bother answering but Hevey Huntingdon did and a professional Manager Karl was very helpful, despite it not being his problem, and assisted me as much as he could. I still do not know when this item will be delivered. Appalling service all-round, apart from Karl, maybe you should put him in charge of customer service. Francesca I can see you are overworked apologising for the lack of service so please don`t apologise. Just let me know when I can expect delivery. PLEASE. Haha after a bad review some action. Today 29/5 as I was leaving home I received a phone call asking if my order had arrived. No it hadn't, I asked why not and was told the "system" had me marked as delivered. He said he would sort it. I told him I was just going out to take my 90 year old Mother to an appointment and to leave me a message about delivery date/time. On route to my Mother`s my mobile rang at length twice so I stopped the car to ring back. It was a delivery driver within 3 minutes of my home enquiring if I was in to take the delivery. No I was not. I gave explicit instructions for where to leave the item. This was at 10.30 am. On returning home I had a voice message that said to expect a delivery between 12.00 pm and 4.30 pm today. What a joke notice of delivery 3 minutes!! No stars for customer service having spent a further 45 minutes waiting for no answer on 28/5. No stars for online Chat which was non existent. No stars for HSS. Other than Karl at Huntingdon branch who gets 10/10 stars for effort/kindness/consideration for a stressed customer/utter professionalism.
