If there were a No Star Review
If there were a No Star Review, I would have chosen it. Been with them a few years, but since GoDaddy took over it's gone disastrously terrible. My Domains need their Name Servers updated. Password Reset never arrived and now the original email domain, sits homeless. They know my domains are down, but they couldn't simply send to a new email I have. Followed their Complaints Procedure, which is to write via snail mail, by which time, my sites will be down for minimum another week. Created a new account with a new email as this was the only way to get a Ticket. Even after 4 days, only got one reply. They want documents to prove identity, address, bills, bank statements etc. Their link to do to that won't complete after 6 sections filling in. Click on Previous, and all the stuff you wrote and attached were gone. Went through that 3 times to see if I missed anything and didn't. Gave up. Complained to Nominet and Verisign with whom they pay to be members. Only thing they can do is move your domains to another provider. Heart Internet has lost it's Heart. GoDaddy has no Heart. It's a completely Heartless Company killing many businesses. There's plenty of complaints on Social Media about them as well with some tragic stories. This whole Registrar System has no Regulation. Holding this much Power over a business without providing a professional and timely service, to cover for simple things like an email password reset not working, is quite frankly, a Criminal Structure. I doubt anyone is going to get any compensation as they are not legally accountable to anyone. The system needs radical change a proper regulation. _____________________ Update 9th of April Found out company had changed ownership twice in quick succession. Now Heart Partnered with your.online and after chasing directors my heartfelt thanks go to Craig Cotter for sorting out the issues. He sorted things within 10 minutes of contact with me. My faith is Restored as I got back into my account. I'm told they are getting back to how it was run before. Changed my Rating because right now. I'm really pleased and I do think things will change after all I've found out.
