Will never use this company again
For many years (perhaps more than 5 years), I and my family always used TID whenever travelling. My family stopped buying the insurance when my parents could not claim for air ticket fare in order to attend my grandma's funeral and I recently stopped using it because this company refused to pay my claims for some cancellations which happened beyond my control during my one year travelling in 2015. I now switched to another company after reviewing their policy that things were not covered by TID were actually covered by them. They were about $3 more expensive for my current trip but for the hassles I dealt with TID claim assistant, I believe it is time to move on and find a better insurance company!!
