Abusive manager
I got a parking tickets in Athens, which I of course paid for, but because the car want registered correctly (according to the police), the license plates were taken (as is common for parking fines in Greece, to get transgressors to pay up). The rental company laid the blame for this at my feet, and demanded €300 for the cost of sending a courier to Athens to pick up the license plates. When I naturally refused, I hadn't registered the car incorrectly after all, Ionna started shouting at me, threatening me with lawyers, police, and that I would be barred from leaving Greece. I offered €150 instead, but was still rejected. I talked to my lawyers too, y bank, and my insurance company, which all said I should stand by ground, as the Greek police backed me up. When I came back to hand in the car, they didn't demand that I pay, maybe they had talked to their lawyers too? I'm almost upset to still be giving one star, the treatment I got, and the emotional stress I went through, warrants -5 stars. I'd rather eat glass than come back. Oh right, and they didn't give us the car we booked, but one that used much more fuel.
