Terrible Customer Service
We booked an American Airlines flight, but had to cancel due to pandemic reasons. We receive flight credit to use for up to a year. Nine months later, we go to use the credit. Travelocity says we need to sign up for the American Airlines Advantage program to use the credits. We sign up and call Travelocity to use the credits. They say they can't retreive our information and to call back in 24 hours. This has happended on a few occasions already. All we want to do is use our credits so we can book a flight. Our credits don't even cover the costs of the new flights anyways, so we'll end up paying more out of pocket regardless. This will be the last time we use Travelocity. 9/25 Update: We finally used our credits. However, we were assessed a $100 fee to use them because we booked discounted rates on their own website. I'm not sure what's going on here, but this has to be one of the worst business practices of all time. Travelocity failes to realize that it's the customers that keep them in bsuiness. And they just lost one.
