Used items sold as brand new - Beware
Great service to begin with having ordered a LeLit Mara X (Really helpful on the phone) - The machine arrived within a few days, however it was missing various items such as the cleaning kit, the labels were already removed off the machine & no tamper included. The machine had also been damaged with various scratches on the filter baskets & the back of the machine so I raised this via email & they told me that a used return had been sent to me in error. Having paid full price for a brand new machine, how on earth does a company send out a damaged/returned item without knowing. I therefore had to package the whole thing up & return it to the shop (bearing in mind it weighs upwards of 20kg), this was a big inconvenience. They then agreed to send me a new machine out but via a diffferent delivery method which would take up to a week. I complained & asked the manager for next day delivery which I was promise, however i’m now 3 days down the line without a machine. On the flip side, they offered me a £50 voucher & I already had a £100 cash back credit to use so they’ve sent me a grinder utilising these. Overall, a great experience of dealing with customer service to rectify things (Especially Rose) but have been put off by a company that tries to sell used items as brand new when they clearly know they’re not - I wouldn’t expect that for a coffee machine valued at £50 let alone £1k plus.
