While after months of my patient…
While after months of my patient advocate from my insurance and myself trying to get you to submit a claim for 300 catheters instead of 200 you finally did it. Well low-and behold it was approved the very day it was received by my insurance. It’s ridiculous of whoever it was to call me repeatedly to say my insurance wouldn’t accept my request. They didn’t understand that I talk with my advocate at least twice a month and no request was ever made. This person repeatedly told me that’s all they pay for since that’s all Medicare would pay for. Well after repeatedly told this I went on Medicare website and found this to absolutely not to be true. I even called to verify It’s says to go through the same process I had to with my insurance company. I’m not sure what the process is when you get a prescription. I’ve been told by my insurance representative that it has to be submitted whether you believe it will be approved or not. Especially when you have a representative of that insurance company telling they need it submitted. I believe this employee should be reprimanded. No not fired but learn that all prescriptions need to be submitted. Thank you.
