Poor initial communications
Got to airport and all good. Flight listed on time and Despite nightmare stories of Lanzarote on a Sunday sailed through security and passport procedure. At no time did the airport board warn of any delay yet Jet 2 app advised a 35 min delay. Despite this delay all of a sudden the plane was boarding and we had to rush to join the queue. Get on board plane filling fast and then a call for 2 missing passengers. After 10 mins they rush on the check in is complete and the doors are shut. First announcement sorry to advise our slot has gone and we are delayed for 50 minutes in the plane! We were ready to go and still at least 10 minutes until our slot. Anyway with negotiations it reduced to 30 minutes and caught time on route. Just poor communications at start. Flight itself was fine as ever
