Ordered a black shirt for my son’s prom…

Ordered a black shirt for my son’s prom from the Central Croydon store on July 1st. Was told it would arrive in a couple of days at the Next Home store on Purley Way. Got a text on July 2nd saying it was ready to collect.When I went on July 5th, staff couldn’t find it. After 40 minutes of confusion, I was told it had never arrived and sent back to the original store. There, I was shown the system said it had been collected. More calls to customer service (all contradicting each other), and eventually a refund and reorder — I even had to argue to get the delivery fee removed.I was promised delivery by Sunday 6th (the day before the prom). It never came. Customer service was unhelpful — one person even hung up on me. Another told me it’s still at the depot and might arrive in 24 hours. That’s no help — the prom is Monday.Wasted over 2.5 hours, paid for parking, and still no shirt. A completely unacceptable experience and a total failure from Next.
