No sound Audi A3 MMI unit…after months of static crackle. Now sorted After months of enduring static from my audio unit it finally packed up and I had no sound at all. I chose MCA for the repair because of the clarity of advice on their website about what the problem was, the advice for packing the unit up and completing the documentation for customs is excellent. The reviews really helped me to decide whether to send my unit abroad for repair, but there’s no better advert than a happy customer. I posted the MMI unit to Romania via Royal Mail (£16.00). The parcel was tracked and it took just under a fortnight to get there, make sure to follow the website instructions to the letter. MCA returned the repaired unit via DHL, at a cost of £53 and it came back to the UK in about 4 working days. They keep you updated with progress all through the repair so it was quite refreshing to deal with such a professional company. I would happily use them again if necessary and have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone in a similar situation as mine. As others have mentioned, Remember to keep a copy of your Royal Mail postage receipt and a photo of the completed CN22 export postage label on your packed-up unit, as you need these to prove that you ‘temporarily exported’ the unit for repair, which is essential for DHL to be able to deliver without having to charge you £45 import duty. A real pleasure to do business with. Keep up the good work.
