TWC/Spectrum a bad choice for small business.

We are a local Central New York small service business that Time Warner/ Spectrum courted to change from Verizon Internet and telephone services to them. At first the service ran smoothly and we can say we were pleased. But then we had two weather related outages in the last three months, with the most recent being the last 72 hours. While the weather related issues were not terrible they did cause interruption to our services. When my office staff called them they responded "well it can take up to one week for us to get to you"., meanwhile almost 100% of the area service was already restored. When the staff spoke with me and I listened to my staff, and the staff suggested that this would not be acceptable to TWC/Spectrum they now said they would send a tech out on Thursday. The last time this was the same response, and the last time I explained there are no internal problems only issues externally with the services lines on the streets of our community. Then magically the system was restored. This time is no different all they need to do is find the problem on the street and the issue will be resolved. So here is what I know: 1. our company received "material misstatements"/ not true representation as to the services capabilities, and how they would be here providing for our companies needs in a 24 hour window. 2. I need to exit this company relationship because we are a service company and rely on contact with our clients. 3. It always seems that the excuse is that they will send a tech- when in reality if the services external lines were more durable/sturdy the problems would not exist. 4. In reality we should receive credit for days without service off of our bill under current rules and laws. 5. I strongly suggest that no small business do business with TWC/Spectrum. When the service is working it is great- but when it goes out "no one wants to know you", or make the effort to fix the problem by first "owning the problem" They are always strongly avoiding responsibility for any issue.
