I am writing this review to commend the customer service of Dan Murphys at Carnes Hill, in particular, one staff member named Marlena. Firstly, she was extremely patient and helpful with me when I was trying to find a particular wine, the name of which I could not remember but could only describe. Secondly, once she had figured out what I meant, and saw that the shelf was empty, she checked to see if any stock had arrived that morning and disappeared out the back of the shop for a few minutes, returning with the wine that I wanted. Thirdly, as she had gleaned from our conversation which wines I like, she pointed out several of the specials that I had overlooked so I was able to save money as well. One very rarely gets this kind of help anywhere in big chain stores such as this, so I thought it was worth noting.
