Would not recommend - food, delivery and customer service lacks
I made an order for 20 meals to try as a one-off, and did not agree to a subscription. Subscription appears to be established automatically. I have tried for 5 days to cancel my subscription but the "Manage Subscription" tab on the website generates a loading screen, then goes blank. This has happened on both Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge on my personal computer and work computer, as well as on Google Chrome and Samsung Internet on my phone. The issue is clearly with the website and I am sure plenty of revenue is generated on this basis - as evidenced by other reviews. If the food was good, I would happily reorder as from time-to-time I do subscribe to other meal delivery services for convenience. The delivery lead time for the first order was unusually long, and I think its fair that I should get to try the meals before I have to reorder another 20+ meals. Emails to customer support seem to be initially responded to by either AI or a virtual assistant. Despite my emails in advance and clear request to cancel, Macros have still attempted to take payments today for another order and have provided no meaningful response to my support request. To add insult to injury when the delivery did arrive (after 6pm), the box was already open when the delivery agent put it down. I went to pick it up and the box was sopping wet and the bottom ripped out of it and contents fell on the floor. Meals were not convincingly cool on delivery and I suspect my order has been doing the rounds all day in the truck - so if I hadn't collected immediately, I believe it is very unlikely it would've stayed cool another 6-8hrs as claimed. I did eat one of the meals for dinner, and could categorically say it was the worst meal received from a food delivery service. MyMuscleChef, A Life Plus, and dare I say it, even Youfoodz, are head and shoulders above.
