I can’t even begin to explain.......(DISGUSTING)
I can’t even begin to explain. I have been in customer service, including managing a hotel, for over 20 years and can safely say that I would never even consider renting from this company again. Rental companies should have standards and CRH clearly does not. We reserved in February for three families staying in June (one of the families was smart enough to not go for the discount trusting CRH). We asked that all three hotel rooms be as close as possible, we made a list of 7 rooms immediately that we would like to stay in, it was clearly stated that they made no promises but they could have made it happen and they did not. They put my husband and I (with our kids) in a completely different building then the other families. We wrote two nights before our stay to see if we could find out our room numbers and they told us they were “still moving stuff around” but we were smart enough to check the rooms they rent for our dates and knew weeks in advance what our rooms would be (and not once did any of the rentals “move around” so they were saying that knowing the room they gave us was awful). We decided to make the best of it. We got there, got to our room, and the smell of rotten breast milk hit. We took ten minutes to look around and spotted brown crusted stuff on the drawers, the coffee pot was dirty with mildew under it, the room smelt awful and we pulled out the sofa bed which had broken springs and it also squeaked with the slightest touch. I was not happy that they put a family, with children, in this room and voiced it in an email. We received an email back saying we could move the following day. We got back to the room that evening, I took a towel down to dry my face, and I was hit by a piece of petrified poop stick to the towel. As soon as it was open the smell hit and there was no doubt it was poop. I went to give my children a bath, turned the knob and my hand hit slimy stuff that was mold, my husband took sheets out for the squeaky sofa bed and it had brown stuff all over them. Even my kids begged us to take them somewhere else. The next day they asked me to walk them through the issues, we were at the store, and I let them know I would be happy to when we got home. Instead they said to go look at the new room and move over. We did do this but I made it clear that I left everything as is except the poop towel in the bathroom trash (and yes I saved it so that they could see it). I expected them to look at it and offer at least an apology but none was ever made. To have a piece of poop like that is beyond unsanitary and not once did we receive an apology. The other room was better, the stuff was well hidden, but as ten days passed there was some concerning things. I went to plug my phone in and there were booger’s stuck to the wall. My son went to use the toilet and called me in, when you looked between the tank and seat of the toilet it was black mold, flaking, and the dirtiest thing I have ever seen. I have pics that will be on TripAdvisor within the next 48 hours. It was so gross that we felt we had to wash off immediately every morning to feel clean after sleeping in it. We got home on Thursday and my son got this rash. The rash got worse and worse and worse until we brought him to the doc today and he has a severe bacterial infection that is caused by a dirty hot tub. The doctor told us the hot tub had to be absolutely disgusting to cause an infection of this degree. It is itchy. My son is miserable and we have him on round the clock allergy medicine so he doesn’t itch his hives (that he was itching until he bled). If you own a condo at Sugar Beach I highly suggest you take care of your property. This means no dirty toilets that took years to acquire that much mold. No dirty coffee pots, no broken sofa beds, no mold, etc and this company should be ashamed of the rooms it rents out.
