Another week gone by and still nothing

Another week gone by and still nothing, if I had not have given these lot so much money I would cancel this holiday, I cannot believe they have still not sorted this insurance out and nothing from ROCK, REALLY THINK TWICE BEFORE BOOKING A HOLIDAY WITH THIS LOT, I am giving it another 24 hours then contacting the FCA, the ICO and the ombudsman, maybe even a solicitor, they use ROCK insurance and must either make commission or indeed make a profit of some sort so they are also culpable, what a carry on indeed, we have used travel republic for years so there must have been a change of policy somewhere

I booked everything with travel…

OK Jess More stress for my wife and I which is not appreciated at all, another week and still nothing from the insurance company or Travel republic, do I need to start seeking legal advice, what a shame I have been using Travel Republic for years and still I am in this place ? ? ? ? ? ? THANK YOU JESS LET'S SEE HOW THIS PLAYS OUT AS THERE'S A QUITE A FEW ISSUES HERE one is being addressed BUT, thank you for your reply To save any hassle I booked everything with TR transfers, insurance, etc etc and was asked to call the insurance company to go over any medical details- when I did I had to explain them why I was calling as when I asked them to go over this they asked why, the operator had no clue why I was doing this - eventually I got a figure of £140 extra which I asked for in writing to be told no they don’t do that, isn’t this a part of the FCA rules? How am I meant to make an informed decision? Am I being treated with contempt because they think they have a captive customer?? I took it up with TR to find out that even though this is their online insurance provider they take no responsibility and When I ask to speak to a manager they say no problem they will call you within 48 hours, eventually after an array of very frustrating NO REPLY EMAILS From TR I got a message to say they will cancel the insurance at no cost - so now I can’t even decide if it’s worth taking it - it gets better I get a message from the insurance company to say they will cancel it at 65% of the premiums when after a lot of searching I find on their website I can cancel with no penalty if it’s 14 days before travel - we travel Sept so no issues there - what a carry on - I could only get any sense from TR using the email supplied on the website for people who are back from holiday - I booked this holiday as a well earned rest after caring for our terminally ill mum at end of life for 18 months and now looking after our dad with dementia for over 2 years, we have a family member who can step in for a week, we could really do without this hassle thank you .. by the way the only real way I could communicate is by using the after your holiday email address, something needs looking at here

Considering they get paid to read the…

Considering they get paid to read the meter they don't hang around long, my elderly parents heard the door bell, before they could get to the door the meter reader had gone, now they are panicking as they are old they think it is imperative the reading needs to be done as a red slip was posted and they will now get an estimated bill. Trying to work their way through the system to get the reading from the meter proved far too much for them, after some work it is the same for me and I am tech savvy. What is going on I thought it was a remote reading these days with no need to enter the property.......it is too difficult for most people to be able to read these meters especially older people who are infirm, why can't you make is easier, they are panicking now as they could not really afford the bills last year and the red card left tells them if they don't send the reading they could get estimated bills, VERY HEAVY HANDED especially with the cost of fuel these days. I am now revisiting the review as I cannot believe what has happened next, on the red card there is a link to Morrisonds website how to read your meter, of course our meter is not on there BUT there is a free phone number, I called it thinking someone would tell me what to do as it is under the link for the guideline, it is to give your reading with no help at all how to get the meter reading up. after several attempts and to visits to my parents when I should be in work, we are at the same place. why do you not show all meters on the link, you fitted the stupid thing ?????
