AVOID IMO at London Colney I visited this site at London Colney on…
I visited this site at London Colney on Saturday, joined the long queue & paid £14: for my chosen wash. Whilst being transported through the wash I noticed the air blowers were not functioning and the towel drying material on the revolving mechanism was missing. I drove to Sainsburys & dropped my wife off at the main entrance, as she got out of the vehicle she advised me it was filthy & wet, I immediately returned to the car wash, parked & spoke with their operative. I complained to him & without hesitation he advised me that he knew & that the machine was broken. I questioned why then is he still taking money under false pretences if the machine is broken & he just shrugged his shoulders. If I was a younger man & had the time I would have spent it advising everyone as they got into the queue that the wash wasn't functioning & don't waste your money. What IMO have done by staying open is fraudulent. I sent them a message on Saturday advising them, not expecting a response till today & I have now provided them with proof of my visit on Saturday. I have made a complaint to the manager at Sainsburys, presumably the landlord & if I don't receive my refund today I will be making a formal complaint about IMO to Sainsburys head office. Meanwhile AVOID IMO at London Colney
