The purchase of the software was straightforward
The purchase of the software was straightforward, no issues. I followed the online instruction of deleting (uninstalling) my old MS Office 2003 software, before clicking on the link to download MS Office 2024. I clicked on the link to download my purchase, it took less than 10 minutes, then said completed. The next instruction told me to launch Excel and the software would then prompt to authenticate and select Next, or something like that. Well I’m not an IT Novice, but I could not get the new software to launch. As this was 05:30am, there was no option of a Chat with a support person. So I went to System-> Apps -> right-clicked on the new MS Office software and selected Recover. This ran for 5 mins and completed. I rebooted my PC and launched a spreadsheet from File Explorer, all seemed ok. Then looked in my Apps and each component of MS Office was now visible. I’m running Win11. All seems fine now. Would I recommend? Yes
