Unimpressed.
Unimpressed. Home Telecom acquired me as a customer from No-One Internet. No-One had amazing customer service, but Home Telecom is appalling. Spent 45 minutes on the phone only to be cut off while being transferred to a third person. 1. I want my phone number changed to another number, which I already have with Skype. Skype, who are closing down, say the phone provider must initiate this transfer. There is no option on the phone menu for my query, its more oriented to fixing broken things, (which is ominous). 2. I hang on for 20 minutes at the switchboard, nobody picked up. 3. Called again and selected option 1. Explained my query. Was told it was not the correct department, but she would transfer me. 4. Back on hold. Second person picks up. I explain the query again. Not the correct person again. He will transfer me. 5. Put on hold and immediately cut off. A telecoms company that cant even transfer a call. Hmmm. 6. Out of time, and losing my patience now. I decided to send a polite email instead, requesting assistance. 7. 48 hours later, not even an acknowledgment of the email, let alone a reply. I think i will be looking for an alternative supplier when my contract is up. (Assuming they keep my internet running in the meantime. It seems to be dropping out with increasing frequency too). Facebook keeps asking me why I am logging from different locations in the south of the country every day. Its a weird service, becoming intermittent.
