Never again
Never again: Not suitable for personal belongings and removals, although the company gives false advice and claims otherwise. We moved from Germany to Australia in September 2024 and asked for a quote. We explicitly said that we were moving house and required personal belongings to be shipped, were advised by a member of staff on the option to select and then made a booking. We then received shipping labels from UPS as well as instructions for shipping, which explicitly listed personal items among the prohibited items. When asked, ParcelABC said this was not a problem, but UPS confirmed the ban and said it could happen that the parcels would be returned to Germany. ParcelABC nevertheless insisted we try shipping with UPS. But for us, taking the risk of the boxes being returned to Germany and the expense this would incur (something ParcelABC then wouldn't cover for even though we had raised our concerns with them) was not an option for us. We therefore chose to cancel our order and tried to get our money back. Part of the money was refunded to us, but we had to pay 25% in Administrative Fees, even though we had been given false and incorrect advice by ParcelABC and were not at fault. To clarify, we ultimately booked through a UPS service specifically designed for shipping personal goods. This was not the fault of UPS in any way, shape or form. Ultimately ParcelABC offer a service and take money from paying customers which they cannot actually provide. This is fraudulent and bad business tactics. We recommend you avoid the stress of potentially not receiving your goods in an already stressful situation of moving countries and book with any other company. Update (08.01.2025) As suggested in the comment on this review, I contacted customer services again. I sent them a long message asking what they could do for me. Monika from the support team replied: How can we help you (obviously not reading my mail properly)? I wrote back asking if there was any way to resolve this issue and for example send me back all the money we paid. The support team never replied. So if parcelABC wants to give the impression on trustpilot that you would like to solve the problem, the help immediately collapses as soon as you are no longer in public on the Internet. So obviously not only fraudulent offers, but also poor support.
