Zen Internet used to be great
Zen Internet used to be great, but no longer. Their customer service is currently dire. I switched my 900 mbps service (worked without issues for 6 years) to them and had 30mbps on average, sometimes 5 mbps, and 10-20% packet loss with frequent disconnects. They spent a month blaming my router, ONT, cables, laptops etc and swore blind that they couldn't see any issues from their end. They scheduled an openreach engineer anyway, who turned up a week before the agreed date when I was out. I asked to escalate to a complaint, which made no difference at all. Avoid!! UPDATE: after 30 days, 3 routers, 3 ONTs, a fibre re-splice, and visits from three lots of engineers, I was able to exit my contract with Zen on a technicality. They promptly blocked my attempt to switch to a new provider, so the saga continues... A complaint manager did get in touch, they offered a 50% refund.
