I am extremely unhappy with the overall…

I am extremely unhappy with the overall service and responsiveness of Vital Records Online. I followed their instructions, paid for the online notary service separately, and did everything else they required. They were extremely slow to respond, they failed to update my account records on their internal system for several months, and their self-service tracking system was never updated, as well. When I was finally able to speak to someone, they said that, as of that day, my order was finally ready to submit to the state of Texas, but they would cancel everything and refund their part of the fees to me. It had already been 12 weeks, and I told them to proceed. I was assured that they would submit it to the State of Texas that day. A couple of weeks later, I got an email that said my service had been cancelled and that they were refunding my $51.00 fee. I was still out the notary fee. I was left in the dark whether or not they actually submitted it to the State of Texas, and I lost access to the portal. I waited a few more weeks to see if I would receive the certificate from Texas. When it didn't arrive by the due date, I reordered it directly from the State of Texas. It should be here in five weeks. I lost nearly four months dealing with these people. The only upside was I actually did get the $51 refund -- hence two stars instead of one.
