We’re extremely disappointed and…
We’re extremely disappointed and honestly quite upset. This feels like a scam, and it’s unacceptable behavior—especially from a company of this size. We don’t know if the cleaning crew lied, if someone else did this, or if it’s just an excuse to charge us extra. Either way, it has completely tainted the end of our vacation. To be clear: we did not smoke inside. Accusing us of something we absolutely didn’t do just adds insult to injury. It's not just a misunderstanding—this feels like an intentional move to take more money from us, and it's beyond frustrating. At this point, it’s not even about the money anymore—it’s about the principle. We were genuinely happy with the place and had already been talking about coming back. But now, after this experience, we just can’t. It feels like we’ve been taken advantage of, and that’s a horrible feeling to leave with. We hope you reconsider and do the right thing, because right now it just feels wrong. No thanks Ferienresort Cochem. This is very terrible behavior of a company this big. Unacceptable and we will not accept this.
