Beware of paying upfront for a service you will never receive
I signed up to Yuno Energy around mid July using Bonkers comparison site, Yuno took a €71 payment instantly and I awaited a welcome pack that never came, sometime in August I got a call from Yuno at work regarding a foul up in my application regarding my address and would I confirm my mprn number to my address,I don't normally carry my mprn number around with me and suggested to him to close my application and refund me and I would start the whole process again at home when I got my money back.As of now I haven't got my money back because I don't have an account with them, Bonkers have intervened by email to to no avail,with last contact from Bonkers saying someone from Yuno would contact me,that was two weeks ago. I don't care how cheap they sell power in future,I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole.Im glad most people here have had a good experience with Yuno , but if things go wrong beware. As of today 8th of October Yuno Energy has not contacted me regarding my issue with them and can only assume now that they have no intention of refunding me the money they took from my current account. This is a disgraceful company, I am not a customer of this company but remember a new customer who exercises their right to cancel a contract during a cooling off period will have to look for a refund of the prepayment and I wish you luck.Rang Yuno Energy sister company of prepay power on 14 October, fobbed off again with not my department, give details and some one will contact me, well they haven't. At this stage I have no hesitation in saying that Yuno Energy have no intention of giving me a refund though no fault of my own, my only option now is to take a claim through the small claims court.
