Misleading information and non existent…
Misleading information and non existent customer service. In November, I order a bike from electric rider. The website assured me that the item was in stock and that it would be delivered in 5-7 days. After a week I contacted them to enquire when it would be delivered. I was told that it was not actually in stock (the website still stated it was) and that it would be delivered in 2 weeks. This date came and went with no contact from the company. The only updates I received was when I sent an email to ask what was going on. The customer service was totally non existent and I was left wondering when I would get my bike. Christmas came and went, once again with no updates. After many, many emails and complaints I was offered a free helmet and lock and my bike eventually arrived on Feb 23rd, 3 months after the order, and it was damaged. I immediately contacted the company who stated that they would request a replacement part to be sent out, and would authorise the repair at a local dealer. Guess what - I have heard nothing since. This company is extremely happy to take your money, but if anything goes wrong once they have it, don't expect to be informed about how or when it will be put right. I am still waiting for the replacement part, but doubt whther it will ever actually arrive
