Lack of care and quality
I've been to a Nuffield Health hospital and gym within the last few months and my experience at both was awful. I visited the Warwickshire hospital in December for an allergy test, which was £450, and I arrived 10 minutes early for my appointment then checked in. They ended up forgetting about me, so I was waiting in the waiting room for 50 minutes. I went to reception and they were very apologetic, but they said that I should've come up sooner as if it was my fault that I was forgotten about. This is my first time going private for healthcare, so I'm used to NHS waiting times and didn't think much of it at first. I ended up complaining online via their website about my experience just after Christmas, but I haven't heard back, even after chasing it up a couple weeks ago. A month later, I went to the Nuffield Health gym in Nuneaton and for the price of the membership, it was just terrible. I've been to a lot of gyms, including cheaper ones like PureGym, but this is easily the worst one I've been too. There's not a lot of equipment, but it was still very cramped in there. There was even a gym class going on at the top of the stairs because of how little room there is, and the cardio equipment is all facing each other so your only view is of the other person in front of you which can be awkward. Overall, I am massively disappointed in the quality and care from Nuffield Health and I will definitely not be considering them again. It's really not worth the extortionate cost they put on all of their services.
