Absolutely disappointed with Fynske…
Absolutely disappointed with Fynske Bank’s service Their online banking access has been disabled from certain international locations — without any prior warning or notice to customers. After two weeks of frustrating back-and-forth with customer service (if you can even call it that — their level of English is embarrassingly poor and makes it hard to even understand what they’re saying), they finally bothered to ask us where we were trying to log in from. Mind you: our location is still within the EU, not some remote island. For two weeks they kept telling us to “restart the app,” and only then did they admit that we cannot access the app from abroad — for an unspecified amount of time — and told us to “send an email.” We sent the email as instructed. Naturally, no reply. Not even an automated confirmation of receipt. No system in place to assist their own clients. No clear communication. No proper support in English (which is frankly shocking in the banking industry). It’s already difficult enough to understand their advisors, let alone get any useful advice on how to simply make a payment from abroad when you’re not physically in Denmark. This is absolutely unacceptable in the 21st century — no warning, no help, no solutions. We are now considering filing a formal complaint with the appropriate authorities. Avoid this bank. Utterly disappointing and unprofessional.
