dishonest, misrepresentation
Would rate zero if possible. AVOID ! super.com advertises false prices to rank cheapest in search engines in order to entice customers to its website. However, by the time the customer has completed the booking the customer is left worse off. I will explain: I booked a holidayinn hotel reservation through super.com. I paid the extra money to be given the choice to cancel the booking in advance and get a refund should any inconvenience arise (standard service offered by hotels whereby you can cancel before check-in day) However, after super.com had received my payment I get a notification stating that my booking can only be cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, and that evidence would be required, added to this- a scare tactic that if false evidence is submitted then the police will be informed. This is an absolute joke. This immediately put me off from doing business with such a deceitful and deceptive provider. I mean why would super.com hide such crucial information somewhere in a tiny fine print link. This should be made obvious to the customer BEFORE taking payment. As a result, I immediately emailed super.com to cancel my reservation and refund me. I contacted them many times 2 days prior to the check-in date but super.com ignored all my requests I contacted my bank to disallow any future payments to super.com should it fraudulently try to take more money (as some people have reported). My bank did some investigation and something suspicious did show up, so my bank cancelled my credit card and issued me a new card. The bottom line: avoid super.com. Book directly with the hotel or a reputable referral. super.com is misrepresenting, and thereby breaking the law Just to confirm, what others have commented here, super.com had automatically subscribed me to a $15 paid monthly subscription without my authorization! I discovered this when I tried to delete my account. reply to super.com I did pay for the refund option as part of my hotel reservation. The whole point of this was freedom to be able cancel my reservation without any quibble. Previously, I have booked directly through the hotel's own website (paid for the refund option) and had no problems in cancelling. This is what the refund option is for. However, Super.com is charging for this option yet denying it The 'medical emergencies' cancellations fall under reservations that are booked 'without' the refund option.
