Helen Mehmet did a good job
Helen Mehmet graciously drove me from property to property in winter 2018/19, listened to our requirements, saw how much we had brought from South Africa, and then searched for something that could meet our needs. I think she did a good job of showing me a range of sizes and locations so that I could understand where our property fits into the housing stock on the market. She was always friendly and professional and came up with two properties that were potentially suitable. There is probably a bigger property out there but we settled on a house built in 1956. Being old it needs some work but it is ours: no more paying rent (and therefore paying off the landlord's mortgage!). We have parking, a garage and a room we have dedicated to laundry: drying, ironing, folding all in one place. Fantastic! Buying a house in the UK was onerous: we discovered it is a very expensive process, complicated, confusing and stressful. In that regard our solicitor from Premier Property really looked after our interests and advised us.
