A lady turned up at my door today to…
A lady turned up at my door today to read my gas meter. I end up denying her to come in or have a reading because I have smart meter anyway and I was not informed prior to this of anything. I then contacted my provider and they had nothing skeduled or requested for my address. I was advised not to give any information to 3rd party. However, the name they had on their hand device was wrong for my house. From what I can understand its the information from an old data base... but it's worrying... anyone can request a reading out of the blue?
