They insist that "everything must be clearly visible," and even provide a "how-to" video to guide you through this invasive process. This is an unnecessarily intrusive request, especially in the absence of any clear explanation on how such sensitive personal data will be stored, protected, or used. There is no mention of encryption, retention policies, or user rights regarding the removal of this kind of personal information. In an age where data privacy is more critical than ever, Sheer's approach feels outdated and unsafe. I strongly advise others to think twice before handing over a live video of their legal ID documents—especially when better, more transparent platforms exist.
