Why is it so difficult to refund money within a reasonable time frame?
Left yuno because my contract was up early December and yuno then took January 2025's advance payment from my bank. Rang up and was told minimum of 5 working days( that was disputed later on in a subsequent call) So rang back today ( a week on) to be told that it's now 21 working days for a refund. So that takes us into January 2025, and that's not even taking into consideration the refund of the double payment in November when the system glitched and said a payment hadn't been accepted when it had. All in all, very poor. I honestly don't want to hear the billing section are behind at the moment, I just want my money. if I was 21 days behind on a payment to yuno, this would be treated very differently. As a footnote, yuno charged me the out of contract rate from the 30th Nov 2024 until i went to another supplier, which makes no sense because I was still with electric ireland up until the 8th December 2023. How can I be under contract with yuno if another company was supplying my power?
