CUSTOMER SERVICE
CUSTOMER SERVICE: TERRIBLE, HORRIBLE, FRUSTRATING, UNBELIEVABLE, DISAPPOINTED...; I COULD GO ON AND ON, BUT WORDS CAN'T EVEN DESCRIBE. THEY DON'T EVEN DESERVE THE 1 STAR! I GUESS, LIKE OTHERS, I HAD THE IMPRESSION THAT MICHAEL'S WAS A REPUTABLE BUSINESS. BUT I WAS TAKEN ABACK BY THE UNBELIEVABLY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I WAS GIVEN WRONG INFORMATION, TRANSFERRED ALL OVER THE PLACE, PUT ON HOLD FOR HOURS, SPOKEN TO RUDELY BY EVEN A SUPERVISOR OVER THE PHONE, ALL BECAUSE I WAS GIVING THEM BUSINESS. I AM NEW TO THEIR WEBSITE AS MY WIFE AND I SHOP MORE AT THE STORE, AND MY WIFE IS IN THE STORE AT LEAST 5-6 TIMES/MONTH WITH MY DAUGHTER. I OPENED AN ACCOUNT ON THE WEBSITE AND ORDERED ITEMS THINKING IT WOULD BE A SMOOTH PROCESS AND I WON'T EVEN HAVE TO SPEAK TO ANYONE. END OF STORY, I HAVE SPENT 8 HOURS ON THE PHONE TOTAL THIS WEEK TRYING TO GET RESOLUTION TO A SYSTEM PROBLEM WITH MY ORDER. I WAS TOLD TIME AND TIME AGAIN THAT THE ISSUE HAD BEEN ESCALATED AND I WOULD GET A CALL AND EMAIL PROMPTLY. NEVER HAPPENED. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS STORE AGAIN AND WE WOULD HAVE TO FIND OTHER RETAILERS THAT OFFER SIMILAR PRODUCTS.
